Escapism and the The Night Shift...

I lasted one night in the new accommodation before I decided to take a walk down to the strip, so I could covet the beautiful hotels before me... After about an hour, I succumbed and decided to stay in a hotel for the night. So, an evening of 500 thread count sheets, room service and telly was on the agenda.... 

I had to return though as my first shift starts tonight and in a funny way, I'm quite looking forward to it. 

Ok, first veining on the job was good. A lot to take in but it's a lively atmosphere and the night passed really quickly. Finished up at 1am and its pissing down outside... Supposedly it only rains once every couple of months here and I'm glad it has. The heat has been burning but I had some beautiful electrical storms to watch...
